YORKVILLE U15P
October 2006—The U15P uses a combination of amplifier topographies to ensure reliability and superior loudspeaker performance. Two Class-A/B amplifier modules deliver 150W each to the 1.75-inch horn driver and to three 5-inch ceramic drivers that make up the Unity horn assembly. An additional three-tier–designed amplifier module delivers 600W to the 15-inch neodymium woofer. Integrated flypoints allow the U15P to be flown in multi-cabinet arrays or installations without modification. www.yorkville.com

YORKVILLE UCS1P
October 2006—This active UCS1P subwoofer includes a 1,500W integrated power amplifier. The horn-loaded design and single 15-inch, long-excursion driver deliver ample low-end support. Features built-in crossover circuitry, 15mm 11-ply birch-plywood cabinet construction, metal grilles and integrated wheels/bar handles. XLR/TRS Combi jack inputs accept all line-level sources. Multiple UCS1Ps can be integrated using the XLR balanced throughput on each power module.

YORKVILLE YSM2P STUDIO MONITOR
July 2005—Yorkville releases the YSM2P Active Studio Monitor ($169 each), a powered bi-amplified loudspeaker delivering 70 to 19k Hz from its 5.25-inch woofer (46W) and 1-inch soft-dome tweeter (14W). The active crossover network ensures a smooth transition between the components and accurate source representation without requiring EQ. Input is on XLR and ¼-inch jacks, with an input trim on the back of each shielded cabinet.

YORKVILLE YSMP2P
June 2005—Yorkville Sound has added a more compact active studio monitor to its YSM line. The new YSM2P is a 46-watt, two-way bi-amped, loudspeaker delivering a 70 to 19k Hz bandwidth from its 5.25-inch laminate cone woofer and 1-inch soft-dome tweeter. The speakers have ¼-inch and XLR inputs and are mag-shielded.

YORKVILLE YSM1P
December 2003—Yorkville's and a 1-inch HF driver. The LF driver gets 85 watts, and the HF driver receives 30. The monitors are made of 0.75-inch MDF with mag shielding; a defeatable limiter is included, as well. TO READ THE REVIEW, CLICK HERE.

YORKVILLE YSS1 SUBWOOFER
December 2003—Yorkville's YSS1 subwoofer is a 12-inch LF driver in a high-density MDF cabinet powered by a 150W amplifier. The system yields a 35 Hz to 150 Hz frequency response. As this sub is intended for use with Yorkville's near-fields, stereo pass-throughs are provided.

YORKVILLE YSM1p
November 2002—Yorkville's YSM1p uses the same cabinet and similar components as the popular Yorkville YSM1, including a shielded 6.5-inch woofer and 1-inch silk-dome tweeter in a ported cabinet. The YSM1p's overall sonic characteristics were designed to match the original YSM1, with the big change coming from the new monitor's onboard power module delivering 115W (85W LF/30W HF) with less than 0.05% distortion at full power. Other features include +9/-6dB input trim, defeatable limiter, DIP switches to tailor the monitors LF/HF response and balanced inputs (XLR and 1/4-inch TRS). Dimensions are 11x10x16 inches; weight is 25 pounds. Retail: $320 each.

YORKVILLE YSS1
November 2002—At this year's Summer NAMM show, Yorkville launched the YSS1, a complementary subwoofer for the YSM1p for extended bass or surround system installations. The YSS1 features a 150W integrated power amp driving a 12-inch woofer for 35 to 150Hz response. Its built-in power module includes a variable frequency-selectable crossover (60 to 150 Hz tunable), volume pot, phase-reverse switch, two XLR/TRS balanced inputs and RCA unbalanced inputs. The internal preamp ensures stereo input sources are summed in phase to the integrated amplifier, and two XLR balanced outputs pass stereo input signals to feed full-range active monitors. Dimensions are 20.5x13.75x16.75 inches (DxWxH); weight is 44 pounds. Retail: $459.
