The capsule is a ¾-inch cardioid-only design coupled to an amplifier with a hand-selected, military surplus, subminiature triode for exceptionally low noise and high durability. The grille’s three-layer design avoids foam altogether to preserve clarity, but still limits plosives, wind noise and other ills of live performance.
