SOUNDTRACS DS-00
October 2003—Offering scalable, medium- to large-format digital consoles in the mid-price range, the Soundtracs (www.digiconsoles.com) DS-00 digital console features touchscreen control and a variety of add-on modules, making it a truly user-designable system. Specialized additions include a FP film section, EX fader channel extender modules and HD user-definable bay for fitting custom controllers, phase meters, etc.
SOUNDTRACS DS-3B
October 2002—The Soundtracs DS-3B is a 32-bit, floating-point digital console, with each of the 64 or 96 channels having 4-band parametric EQ, two filters and dynamics sections. The innovative worksurface, available with either 24 or 32 faders, incorporates touch-screen technology with 25 or 33 motorized faders. Operating at 96 kHz or 48 kHz with 24-bit conversion, it provides 32 output buses, each with limiters for stereo, LCRS and 5.1 formatting. Complete with subtractive mix-minus GPO, GPI and full redundant PSUs, helping to make this the most powerful digital broadcast console in its class.
SOUNDTRACS D4
June 2001—At NAB, Soundtracs launched the D4, a major, new large-format digital console available in configurations from 16 to 96 moving fader channels with up to 320 inputs assignable to 128 output buses. It supports stereo/LCRS/5.1/7.1 surround formats at 48 kHz or 96 kHz. Having evolved from the company's successful DPC-II and DS-3 mixers (with more than 400 in use worldwide), the 24-bit D4 is based on that same intuitive, touch-sensitive control surface, with powerful onboard DSP, full networking capability and support of all digital formats, including AES/EBU, TDIF, ADAT and MADI. Eight consoles have already been sold.

November 1999—At AES, Soundtracs formally introduced its DS-3 Digital Production Console. Priced from $120,000, the DS-3 is a 32-bit floating-point digital production console featuring 4-band equalization and dynamics. The console's worksurface incorporates touchscreen technology with 25 moving faders. Operating at 48 kHz with 24-bit conversion (96kHz capability is optional), the 64-channel DS-3 provides 32 output buses, each with limiters for stereo, LCRS and 5.1 work. A DS-M version integrates the DS-3 console and 32 tracks of SADiE random access audio and video-all at subframe-accurate sync.
