Dio Core can be used with InnovaSon Sy80 and Sy48 digital live mixing consoles and/or as a remote I/O box for other EtherSound-enabled devices. INNOVASON SY80
September 2005—InnovaSon’s Sy80 provides 80 inputs, 80 outputs and 48 mix buses operating at 48 kHz/24-bit, with 32- to 40-bit internal processing. Fader-per-channel architecture provides simultaneous access to all 80 channels. In addition to the motorized fader, each channel has a dedicated LED meter and Cue/Select/Mute buttons. A Channel Control section provides instant, dedicated control over channel settings, while a 15-inch retractable screen displays channel information. InnovaSon’s XFAD™ expansion fader combinations allow an engineer to group several sources for control under one input fader. The Sy80 is controlled by Sensoft 8 PC-compatible software for editing and archiving of up to 1,000 pages per show. Export and import functions allow file transfers from console to PC and vice versa.
INNOVASON SY48
September 2005—Housed in a compact package, InnovaSon’s Sy48 provides 64 channels with 48 local mic/line inputs, 16 local line inputs and 16 local line outputs for aux, inserts and bus sends. The Sy48 maintains InnovaSon’s fader-per-channel architecture, with Level Meter, Mute, Cue and Select buttons per channel. Faders are user-configurable as inputs, VCAs, groups, buses, aux, XFAD, matrix or crossfaders. Console features include a central control panel for channel parameters, 12-inch fold-down screens and stereo monitoring with PFL, AFL and APL (After Processing Level) listening on headphones or via allocated outputs. The Sy48 includes InnovaSon’s Sensoft management software, facilitating instant recall of console configurations; snapshot automation with manual or MIDI synchronization-enhanced Q/Page display and control for theater applications; and offline programming for show preparation.

INNOVASON SY48
November 2004—A variant of the Sy40 console, the Sy48 is suited for mixing touring front of house or monitors and fixed installations. As a stand-alone console, the Sy48 is equipped with 64 channels with a total of 48 local inputs (32 mic, 16 line). The optional stage box moves 48 inputs to stage with 16 local mic/line inputs, while the LEM option (Local External Mix box) allows up to 64 local mic inputs. INNOVASON SY40-8 UPGRADE
April 2004—The new Sensoft 8.1 software package adds a host of new features and flexibility to existing InnovaSON Sy40 consoles, including the ability to freely configure the most suitable console layout and I/O arrangement for any application: touring, installation and broadcast. New InnovaSon consoles featuring the benefits of Sensoft 8.1 will be sold as Sy40-8 units. However, the upgrade kit, comprising software, hardware, manuals and documentation for existing Sy40 and Compact Live users, is also sold separately. Upgrade kit: $1,425.
INNOVASON SY80
October 2003—The InnovaSon Sy80 digital console allows an unlimited number of inputs to be “stacked” beneath a single “development” fader for control by that fader, allowing the user to designate a “deployment” zone of faders anywhere on the console. Featuring 80 inputs, 80 outputs, 80 faders and 48 mix buses housed in a new chassis and weighing less than 176 pounds (80 kg.), the Sy80 combines an upgraded Sensoft 8 software with a new DSP module.
INNOVASON COMPACT SY40
December 2002—The latest digital live performance console from InnovaSon, the COMPACT Sy40 is housed in the same chassis and offers the same footprint and number of faders as the Compact Live. Distributed in the U.S. by Sennheiser, the InnovaSon COMPACT Sy40 is configured with 40 input channels and 27 mix buses. As a stand-alone console, the COMPACT Sy40 supports 40 inputs and 16 outputs through 47 faders: 32, including eight stereo, for the 40 input channels, 12 stereo mix buses, plus three for the mono LCR masters. If linked to the InnovaSon Stage Box, the COMPACT Sy40 can be expanded to up to 72 inputs and 48 outputs.
INNOVASON SENSORY GRAND LIVE
